║ This disk contains a powerful duo of utilities called DIRMAGIC, written ║
║ by programming wizard Michael J. Mefford. ║
║ ║
║ Use the COPY *.* command to make a backup copy of all the files. If you ║
║ want to boot from this disk, use the SYS command to put the DOS files on ║
║ it, then copy COMMAND.COM onto it. (See "SYS" in your DOS manual.) ║
║ ║
║ To install DIRMAGIC, just type DINSTALL and follow the directions. This ║
║ lets you change the colors and many of the other important settings. To ║
║ read the manual, enter DIRMAGIC and then use the down-arrow key to move ║
║ the highlighted bar to the MANUAL entry. Press the Enter key to view the ║
║ manual's index, and use the arrow keys and PgUp / PgDn keys to browse ║
║ through it. You can print out the manual by typing PRMANUAL. ║
║ ║
║ Important: If you have a hard disk, make sure both DIRMAGIC.COM and DM.COM ║
║ are in a directory that your PATH knows about! Start it by typing DM /G ║
║ then move the highlighted bar to any subdirectory and press F10. ║
